Stone Island - http://www.stoneisland.com/

Stone Island is number one on the terraces and has always been a firm favourite on the casual scene since around 92. Stone island garments will often carry the famous black patch on the left arm. Stoney's have always been smart gear and the quality justifies the expensive price tags.

Paul & Shark - http://www.paulshark.it/

The more exclusive of the casual brands, but still a favourite. Not too popular down south compared to our northern counterparts. Usually more expensive than Stone island and therefore less common on the scene around England.

Burberry - http://www.burberry.com/

The famous check of Burberry has become huge with casuals all over the world. shirts and caps bearing the design are seen everywhere, while golf jackets are also popular. Polo shirts, often featuring the check on the collar are common summer wear.

Aquascutum - http://www.aquascutum.com/

The other Check brand on the terraces, this one is relatively new on the scene but has really taken off. Made popular with its highly distinguishable check pattern of Aquascutum to its collars and cuffs. Relatively average prices give the impression it will be around for a while yet.

Henri Lloyd - http://www.henrilloyd.com/

Another popular casual choice is Henri Lloyd, a fellow yachting and Sailing brand like stone island and Paul and shark. Henri Lloyd tends to be more popular because of its cheaper price tags and more adventurous designs including sweaters and polo shirts having brighter colours and hooped styles.

Lacoste http://www.lacoste.co.uk/

Lacoste is the daddy of the casual world having been through two decades of football hooliganism and surviving, was a popular name when the scene started in the early 80's and still today. Prices a very reasonable and plenty of choice and widely available with official stores located around the country.

Hackett - www.hackett.co.uk

Not as popular as it was because of Hackett's falling designs and less choice, but still around. Was the main choice for English lads travelling across to Brussels for Euro 2000. The famous polo shirt originally made for the English polo team, was ideal for the hot summer weather. And with the use of the St Georges flag and word 'ENGLAND' on some of the designs it was a must have.
